(Senior) Energy Engineer (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Analyze energy data and usage patterns and recommend optimization strategies.
- Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify efficiency improvements.

Develop and implement strategies for optimizing energy consumption in buildings. -
Design and evaluate renewable energy systems (solar, wind, etc.) and energy storage solutions. -
Analyze energy data, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders. -
Ensure compliance with energy regulations, sustainability standards, and environmental policies. -
Research and recommend innovative energy solutions and emerging technologies. -
Support cost-benefit analyses and ROI calculations for energy projects. -
Develop and manage project budgets, including capital and operational expenses. -
Track and report financial performance, including ROI, payback periods, cost savings, energy savings, and environmental impact assessments, and present them to management. -
Monitor and report on post-implementation performance, ensuring energy savings are realized and maintained.
Your profile
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in energy management, renewable energy, or building efficiency projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing energy projects.
- Strong understanding of building systems, energy conservation technologies, renewable energy integration, and energy modeling software.
- Knowledge of energy modeling software (e.g., EnergyPlus, HOMER).
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and incentives for energy efficiency projects.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, geothermal).

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. -
Strong analytical skills to assess energy data and identify savings opportunities. -
Solid understanding of energy-efficient technologies, HVAC systems, lighting, and building automation. -
Strong communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal, for reporting and stakeholder engagement. -
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
