Cyber Security Assurance Lead (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Lead, develop, and inspire the Information Assurance Security team to achieve operational excellence and continuous growth
- Own the creation, maintenance, and governance of all security-related policies, procedures, and documentation
- Translate regulatory and technical security requirements into actionable initiatives that balance risk and business priorities
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR) and maintain a constant state of audit-readiness
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee internal and external audits across the organization
- Design and deliver effective security awareness programs
- Continuously assess and report on risk exposure, compliance posture, and audit outcomes
- Act as a senior representative of Information Security in executive-level discussions, committees, and decision-making forums
- Participate in defining and executing the strategic roadmap for Information Security in alignment with overall IT and business goals
- Partner closely with IT, security, and business leadership to ensure that security strategies effectively support growth and innovation
Your profile
- Degree in Law or Business or a related discipline or certification as CISA / CISM / CRISK / or equivalent
- Demonstrated leadership experience in IT or Information Security, with a proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop high-performing teams–managing a team of at least 5 people
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality: able to turn vision into structure, systems, and tangible results
- Deep knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, and cybersecurity best practices
- Track record of successfully leading audits, managing compliance programs, and executing risk assessments
- Skilled in designing and maintaining security documentation and operational processes
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and German
